THE GALACTIC ENERGY CYCLE

THE ENERGY CYCLE

Energy is all there is. Everything is energy. Various laws apply to the nature of things and the most fascinating and complex forms of energy reside in the abundance of forms of life. Even thoughts and aspects of our existence that are so far away from the basic cycle of energy that this paper attempts to deal with, prompt you to ask the question: Why be concerned about the energy cycle involved in basic synthesis of mass and space?

The many complex laws relating to life and particularly our lives all rely on the maintenance of our thin skin of earth’s atmosphere… the arena of our existence, but this arena is only a minute portion of the major interplay of energy within our galaxy. This galaxy is the “cell” of the universe and by attempting to understand the basic galactic function, we can get a tiny grasp of the womb that created life and ultimately sustains us. Although cosmology may seem to be distant and indifferent to our life here on earth, nothing could be further from the truth. The mere existence of the time and space we inhabit, the primordial and nuclear synthesis of mass and subsequent life speaks from the galaxy. These same principles of quantum physics are the building blocks of our very bodies and the chemistry that maintains them. The Milky Way is our galaxy as we so easily claim. This is Mother Nature herself in action, protecting our very being by extremely violent, yet delicate means… the galactic energy cycle.

This is the energy cycle that is probed in this article and which is so important to the understanding of our world. I am sure that the sceptic has already found some aspects to challenge, but do me the courtesy of provisional acceptance of these assumptions to initiate the discussion… being an energy CYCLE the “proof” of the assumption will be made by the logic of the rest of the cycle.

The galaxy as a whole is a self-regulating process that can operate in a dynamic but steady state for billions of years. This does not mean that there is no interaction from other galaxies … of course there is, but just like a cell in a body has an internal homeostasis, the galaxy has an internal homeostasis within the universe. Of course the galaxy is dependent on the universe but just like a body’s origin and basic functional unit is a cell, so is the functional unit of the universe a galaxy. Systems containing many galaxies may function independently to a large extent but even those have other systems to contend with.

Because we are discussing a cycle, we have to choose a starting point and make a few assumptions that will only become clear once the cycle has been completed. I have chosen to start with emission… the emission of electromagnetic waves from a massive body. The assumption that I will make has already been proven: the effect of gravity on electromagnetic waves. We will return to this point at the end of the cycle description with a renewed concept of gravitation but the assumed principles regarding electromagnetic waves remain the same.

This cycle is a natural cycle that is continuous, insidious and absolute. The main “cell” within which the major portion of this cycle occurs is the galaxy. Although various forms of energy interplay exist between galaxies the main aim of this document is to examine the E cycle in its most basic form. Once this has been achieved the enormity of the universal perspective can be speculated on, but this basic knowledge of the “typical” spiral galaxy and its energy cycle equips us with the tools to speculate about the Universe and its possible fate which for some reason is so important to us.

This game of speculation has only one rule … no singularities, no infinities. Only phases, transformation, feedback mechanisms and processes … never a “singularity”. These horrible beasts are used to end discussions, trump valid dialectic and hide ignorance.

WOW, ARE YOU STILL THERE??????

Okay, if you are still with us let’s launch into it.

You make a fine argument. In examining the E cycle we should look for symbols that are common to us. This is why mother and father are used so effectively in myth. We can use this again here if we take the background field to be the mother and the aether or dark matter her womb full of infinite possibilities. Along comes the father in the form of the organizer or plant who encodes maybe something as simple as a ratio from what all else is concieved.

The two together create the Son or Word. I am not a christian but can appreciate the use of these symbols.

I do think you need the two aspects to ‘create’. This does make an infinte field of anti matter or spacetime all the more probable.

Whether there is something or someone who set everything in motion is impossible to say beyond faith. There is another alternative that the omniverse itself is consciousness in its purest form and this is why we have the selfsustaining cosmos of infinite expression but common laws do persist but only on a relative level.
