Inflation & Gravity

This article investigates our cosmos and the fabric of space from a biologist’s perspective, recognising homeostatic (self regulating) principles of balanced processes maintaining the cycle of energy within the galaxy. Discarding convention, electromagnetic waves are shown to re-invent the main players of this balance,  Inflation and Gravity, and are used to define the  fabric of space and introduce parsimony and understanding to the concept of Relativity and cosmological observations. The conclusion dictates the HOMEOSTATIC MODEL of our universe.

“THE HOMEOSTATIC MODEL OF THE GALAXY” – Executive Summary

 

Energy is everything!! The most basic form of Energy is the Electromagnetic (EM) Wave. This form of energy is ubiquitous, indestructible and constitutes all of Nature, from Nature’s most beautiful creations to man’s most destructive weapons. All natural laws are our documentation of the interplay of these waves and our empirical observations are always the result of the cosmic dance of their energy. Sometimes observations seem to imply that other unknown factors are governing what we see, but in reality, there is an underlying unified theory that not only satisfactorily explains our observations, but also unifies all physical laws ranging from cosmology to quantum observations.

 

At first it may seem that the electromagnetic wave does not possess sufficiently powerful characteristics to form the basis of such an all encompassing theory, but by ascribing the to basic components of nature (Space and Time) to the humble electromagnetic wave, a wonderful picture emerges where unification of forces, laws and even whole disciplines follows naturally. Let’s get back to the Electromagnetic wave. In its most basic form, this is a plane wave of sinusoidal nature with perpendicular oscillating electric and magnetic fields. What characteristics of the wave could represent the characteristics of space?

 

• Distance in space is the obvious characteristic to be represented by the wavelength. The x,y and z axes are merely the sum total of the components of the wavelengths along these axes which also represent the three spatial dimensions.

• Now we go straight for the jugular without preamble and hypothesise that the resultant amplitude of all the waves passing a certain point superimpose and delete to represent Time.

• The definition of Mass is a 3 dimensional standing wave that can now absorb and emit EM radiation.

 

This view of the EM wave encompasses EVERYTHING? How unintuitive can we get!!!! Well, we will have to let the proof of the pudding be the eating thereof.

 

On a subatomic level the internal, innate drive toward resonance of this wave is the only force that exists and the various binding forces (gluon forces, strong nuclear and electromagnetic) are the result of this innate force within the standing wave of the “particle”. These forces “maintain their distance” within the atom by either attracting or repelling according to the energy of the harmonic they are subjected to. Remember that this standing wave (mass) represents both time and space … lots of time and little space.

 

On a macroscopic level the emission and absorption of electromagnetic waves becomes the overriding interplay. Emissions create distance or space and absorption destroys distance or space.

• Emissions also make mass visible to us and in a Homeostatic way continuously create space.

• By the same analogy absorption of electromagnetic waves continuously destroys space. By this I mean that the EM fabric of space is continuously being absorbed by mass and this space destruction is the basis upon which gravity is based.

• The definition of Gravity is thus the inertia that we feel by space around us being absorbed (at an enormous speed) into the earth, for instance, while we are being held back by the earth’s surface.

 

To give some substance to this concept I would like to expand on Einstein’s thought experiment for general relativity and the equivalence of inertial and gravitational mass. The Master used the example of an elevator suspended in space which when accelerated by an external force created the illusion of a gravitational field within the elevator. I would like to suggest that we use the earth as example of the same experiment. If the earth were accelerated in one direction all the people on the one side would feel the “gravitational field”. So far, so good, but what about the people on the other side? They would of course go flying off, experiencing an “anti-gravity effect”!!!!! Bear with me a while longer. According to the Doppler Effect of special relativity, the people experiencing the gravitational field on the one side of the accelerating earth would not know whether the earth was moving or whether the fabric of space was moving towards the earth. The earth cannot be accelerated radially, BUT, what could cause the fabric of space to move towards the earth from all directions (radially)? The obvious answer lies in the absorption of the electromagnetic fabric by the earth. This would give the illusion of a “gravitational force”, but in reality actually be the inertia of any falling object accelerating to reach the speed of space absorption into the earth. Remember that the free falling observer feels no force and in relativity is considered to be the benchmark observer relative to which everything else can be measured.

The conclusion of this argument leads inevitably that the “gravitational force” that we experience is the inertia we feel by not being absorbed with the space fabric. Like being trapped in a net across a river we are continuously pushed onto the earth. Why do we experience an acceleration? Well, the fabric is being absorbed at one heck of a speed and we have to catch up.

 

The second effect on a larger scale is of course the increased density of this electromagnetic fabric around the earth (or any mass for that matter). This increased density (shorter wavelength and larger amplitude) is merely an increased gravitational potential in classic physics. This increased density near any mass is the basis for shortened rods and time dilation of general relativity. (Also see a complete discussion on the website)

 

Now for the juicy bit … Relativity. By substituting the Lorentz equations into the sinusoidal wave equation (Time = amplitude and space or distance or rod length = wavelength) the EM wave becomes the mediator of the transformations. Remember that all wavelengths are transformed according to these equations as the absorption speed increases or slows down according to the mass of the object. This allows us to visualise spheres of gravitational equipotential around the mass where time and rod length are the same. Because of the absorption of space fabric into the earth, the earth is effectively travelling through space. This MOVEMENT reduces the complex formulae determining time dilation and rod shortening in General relativity to the Lorentzian transformations of Special Relativity. In this way this view of gravity allows for the unification of Special and General Relativity. The only question arising is the speed at which the space is absorbed. We thus have a continuous an insidious absorption of space towards the “Black hole” (rather use the term Galactic Centre) of a galaxy fuelled by the accretion of masses attracting each other or rather reducing the space between each other. The absorption of space resulting in accretion of the masses is buffered by the rotational and angular dynamics of the galaxy which accounts for the seemingly overwhelming radiation verses space absorption of stars. This accretion will eventually but continuously lead to vast emissions from the “Galactic Centre”. These high energy emissions are tuned by the gravitational potential to promote areas of standing wave harmonies which resonate to promote “primordial synthesis” of quarks, electrons and neutrinos. These in turn not only account for Cold Dark Matter (CDM) but also emit at the correct temperature to be measured as the Cosmic Background Radiation. This low energy microwave radiation is ubiquitous due to this perigalactic CDM and becomes an important part of the EM fabric of space.

 

This Galactic Energy Cycle forms the basis of the Homeostatic Model of the Universe.
